Suddenly but peacefully at the Eden Valley Hospice, after a courageous 14 year fight on Tuesday 27th August 2024, surrounded by his girls and family. Alan (Big Al) aged 59 years. Much loved husband of Jenny, adored dad of Ashleigh, Lauren, Megan and Lucy and dear father-in-law of Cam, Ryan, Luke and Bradley. A cherished grandad of Ethan, much loved son of Pat and Tom, loved brother of Julie and brother-in-law of Kevin also a much loved uncle of Amie and Jack. Alan will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends . Funeral service to be held at St Paul's Church, Lonsdale Street, Carlisle on Wednesday 4th September at 11:45am followed by committal at Carlisle Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to be divided between Myeloma UK, Blood Buddies and The Eden Valley Hospice.
