Peacefully at Holmewood Care Home with family by her side on Wednesday 31st May, Ellen aged 102 years. Devoted wife of the late William. Much loved mother of Barbara, William, Winnie, John, Margaret and David. Loving mother-in-law, nana, great-nana and friend to so many, especially very caring neighbours at Dykesfield. Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday 20th June at 1pm. Family flowers only please, but donations at Ellen's request to Cancer Research UK.
