Peacefully on Thursday 3rd August 2023 at the Eden Valley Hospice with family by her side, after a long and courageously fought battle with cancer. Mary, dearly loved wife of Brian , precious Mam of Marie and Sara, loved mother-in-law of Derek and Jason and the most amazing nana to Steven, Lauren, Oliver, Alex and the late Jessica and Lewis. Also a much loved granny to Isabelle, Caelan, Scarlett and Neeve and auntie to Sharon and the late Keith. Mary will be a sadly missed friend to many. 'Back with your mam having buttered toast and cups of tea'.
Dress code - flowery and bright (no black). Flowers may be sent or donations in lieu if desired to the Eden Valley Hospice. A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 21st August at 1:40pm.
