SILVESTER, EILEEN (nee Rowlands)
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Eden Valley Hospice on Tuesday 15th August 2023, Eileen, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of Peter, devoted mam of Clare, Kathryn and Paul, supportive mother-in-law of Ian, Matthew and Natasha, treasured nana of Bethan, Jenny, Leah, Siân and Coben, a loving sister of the late Glenys and caring sister-in-law of Tony and Ian. Also an adored auntie, cherished cousin and a special friend to many. Eileen was a kind, faithful and dedicated teacher to all those she taught. Requiem Mass to be held at St. Margaret Mary’s R.C. Church, Scalegate Road, Carlisle on Thursday 24th August at 1:30pm followed by a private interment in the churchyard of Our Lady & St. Wilfrid, Warwick Bridge. Eileen’s body will be received into St. Margaret Mary’s Church on Wednesday 23rd August at 6:00pm. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu, if so desired, to be divided between the Eden Valley Hospice and the MND Association.
